If you've been waiting for an opportunity to jump on Immortal Iron Fist, here it is. My first arc, "The Mortal Iron Fist," is now out in hardcover at comic shops near you, as well as Amazon.com. This includes the first four issues of my run with Travel Foreman and Russ Heath (#17-20), as well as the done-in-one "Orson Randall and the Death Queen of California" (with art by Giuseppe Camuncoli). I'm proud of the whole damn thing, but especially "Death Queen," which was inspired by my trips to L.A. last summer. And out this week is Cable #13, which is the second installment of the X-Force/Cable crossover series, "Messiah War." You can check out some preview pages over at CBR.com. God, do I love Ariel Olivetti's version of a future, gnarly Deadpool...
Also out this Wednesday: the final installment of Dead of Night: Werewolf By Night. You'll find some preview pages right here. Mico Suayan's art is amazingly freaky and nightmarish in that Creepy/Eerie/Psycho sort of way. Snap it up now; the trade paperback won't be out until late summer.

Duane:
The Messiah War prologue was incredible! I loved seeing Mike Choi's renditon of Cable and Hope, and it was just a great set up for the crossover. I also enjoyed Stryfe's Strike Files at the end.
One quick question, though: I recently heard about an upcoming crossover between the X-men and the Dark Avengers and was wondering whether or not Cable would play any role in that? Personally I would love to see him fight Ares one on one.
Thanks.
Glad you enjoyed the prologue. I can't say a word about the the X-Men/Dark Avengers crossover... well, because I'm not involved in it at all. (But I'm looking forward to it, too.)
Thanks, Duane. I wasn't sure if you would have any input into the crossover, however, I was more wondering whether or not Cable would even be available to participate in it (i.e., whether or not he would be back in the present by then or still trapped in the future with Hope).
I suppose you can't answer that either, though, so I guess I'll just have to wait and see how Messiah War turns out. I'll keep my fingers crossed for some hints as to Cable's fate post-Messiah War in upcoming interviews about the event.
Thanks.
